Hello again!
So, I’ve been contemplating all of the excuses reasons excuses why I haven’t posted in so long! Holidays, holidays hangover, taking the dog to rehab, taking jewelry classes (more on that coming up in a future post), etc., etc., etc. No good reasons, other than I haven’t made it a priority. Sorry about that. I’m getting back on track!
The best reason is that we have been planning a warm weather vacation to Key West! We plan and save to be able to go every year around our wedding anniversary. We partially celebrate that, but really – it is therapy. Currently in the Minneapolis area it is -15° with a -30° windchill. Fun, right? No. So, we go as far south as we can without needing a passport, and just soak in some 80° sun for a week or so. Glorious!
So, to help make the time go by faster, I’ve been doing travel related projects. Sorting through warm-weather clothes, searching for flip-flops in Minnesota in January (not as easy as it sounds, people), and getting our travel information and itinerary together.
To make all of the travel information a little more at-a-glance, I put together these simple printable sheets. If you are planning a winter getaway, these might come in handy for you, too! Just click on the image of the planning sheet to get to the pdf and download!
Travel Itinerary (Air Travel)
Just add your destination, dates, and flight info! I printed an air travel page for each passenger, but do what works for you! Our flights have a layover (boo!), so I slotted in four flight sections.
Travel Itinerary (Ground Transportation)
For this trip, we do have transportation to/from the airport at home (parking at the airport is EX-PEN-SIVE!). We won’t have a rental car this time, but we will need a taxi, and we might be renting golf carts or something, so the car rental section should work for that, too!
Travel Itinerary (Accomodations)
All the helpful information for a hotel, B&B, inn, no-tell motel, rental house – wherever you like to stay! I have two sections as we are staying at 2 different placing on this trip, but it would also work if you have more than one room reserved.

And of course, the all-important check list! For all the little things, like remembering to schedule the dog boarding, packing medications and phone chargers, stopping the mail – all that stuff that you don’t remember until it’s too late.
